TabTrade - Is It Worth Opening an Account

The Broker — The Short Version

TabTrade.com went live in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.

His background matters. It means the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. Still preferable to a founder with no industry background.

They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.

The instrument list: forex, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that launched in March 2026, the breadth is not narrow.

The Software

They offer: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both matters. Pick what suits your style.

MT5 is the default. Full charting, EAs, huge user base. If you have traded on MT4 or MT5 previously, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Better DOM. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders find it more natural after comparing.

FIX API is available for automated strategies but requires the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is reportedly in the works. That should round things out once it is live.

Costs

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Works for beginners.

Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. TabTrade has no minimum.

VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, negotiated fees. Not for most retail traders. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.

Execution Speed

This is where TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers operate at a much wider range.

Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. The point is the setup is serious. That is something about priorities.

Put together that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get is strong. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit offer execution like this.

The FSRA Question

Here is the part that matters. The broker is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Plenty of FCA-regulated options out there.

However. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The server placement is expensive. Dodgy operations do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. That does not guarantee anything. It does inform how you think about it.

What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that makes sense comes down to your priorities.

Welcome Offer

TabTrade runs bonus funds of up to $2,000. Standard welcome offer. You fund your account, they top up your balance. The normal fine print: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you commit.
